Make a Joyful Noise

Psalm 100:
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

Worship the LORD with gladness;

come before him with joyful songs.

Know that the LORD is God.

It is he who made us, and we are his;

we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving

and his courts with praise;

give thanks to him and praise his name.

For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;

his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Our church has a ministry at a local Residential Nursing Facility. We have music, singing, prayer and our pastor brings a short sermon. The residents seem to really enjoy this time. They especially LOVE the music. They may have reached a time in their lives when their bodies are failing them but their spirits are as fresh and vibrant as ever. They sing loudly, on-key, and they know all the words. Some of them get so excited they practically dance in their wheelchairs. It is a precious site and I know God is well-pleased—His loving kindness is everlasting as is His faithfulness to ALL generations! Praise God!
