The good news is that God, the Creator of the universe, knows your thoughts and your needs and He cares for you; you never escape His notice. That is always true! What God has promised, He will do. Habakkuk 2:3 says this:
For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end
and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
it will certainly come and will not delay.
“Though it linger, wait for it.” Good things come to those who hope or wait upon the Lord. Most certainly this requires patience for God’s timetable is different from our own. We have grown up in an environment that literally worships instant gratification. But the truth is good things come to those who wait and this is most true when we are waiting upon the Lord.
Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31
