God is speaking, are you listening?

God uses the Holy Spirit to speak to us daily, sometimes through others, sometimes through passing thoughts, sometimes through song, through the written word, or through various situations we encounter in everyday life. It is up to us to be still and listen for that quiet voice. Jesus tells us:

"Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!” Luke 12:27-28 (NIV)

We are invited to cast all our cares upon Him; the One who cares for us. He calls us to be faithful to His word; to trust Him for ALL our needs. Relinquishing control can be difficult, but through the unending grace of God we are able to do this with the knowledge that we are objects of His divine and infinite love. AMEN!
